Gen C
Generation C could be said to comprise the people who use Web 2.0, create user-generated content and participate in the co-creation of products and services. UK university broadcaster SubTV CEO Peter Miles concurs saying Gen C distinguishing aspect is the use of SMS text messaging as Gen C's connect almost telepathically sending dozens, some even 100 text messages per day in what Miles calls a hive mentality, allowing groups to spontaneously connect, collaborate and share.
Comparable to the archetypal Renaissance Man or Woman, positing that the rise in creative expression was due to the same conditions that led to the renaissance - namely trade and widespread peace.
Also known as the apathetic generation or the sad generation.
Gen Y
Underage drinking and illicit drug use is prevalent among high school and college age members of Generation Y. In urban areas, rave culture was known for its influence on Ecstasy usage. Marijuana, methamphetamine, cocaine, and inhalants seem to be most favored.[4] Drug usage prevails even in spite of (and, in some cases, because of) most Gen Y members undergoing programs such as D.A.R.E. during childhood.
Members of Generation Y were found to be "demanding, impatient and bad at communicating" by a 2007 survey of business owners in Australia. The survey found that almost 70% of those surveyed found their Generation Y workers to be dissatisfying, with poor spelling and grammar and no understanding of appropriate corporate behaviors. However, the survey also showed most employers praised the energy and charisma of their Generation Y workers.
Sometimes referred to as the internet generation.

I feel like i bounce back and forth myself. I can easily enter the hive mentality, but I become disgusted and withdraw myself through the Gen Y self destruction.
